The Cappella Musicale di San Giacomo Maggiore was founded in Bologna and directed by Roberto Cascio. The Cappella was born in 2006 with the aim of reviving the unpublished part of the many composers belonging to the order of the Augustinian fathers between the 16th and 18th centuries.
For Tactus has made several recordings. He is completing the complete publication of the works of the Augustinian father Ippolito Ghezzi. The first compact has had excellent reviews from major music critic magazines in Italy and throughout Europe. He collaborates with the Teatro Antico and the Cambonino Ensemble of Cremona in the creation of intermezzos and theatrical comedies and sacred representations of the Renaissance and Baroque periods.
